O longa vai ser uma biografia da banda Queen, sendo retratado seus primeiros anos, desde a sua formação até o ano de 1985, onde a banda se apresenta em show ao vivo para quase dois bilhões de espectadores, o festival Live Aid.

O elenco conta com Rami Malek (“Mr. Robot”), Ben Hardy (“X-Men: Apocalipse”), Gwilym Lee (“O Turista”), Joe Mazzello (“A Rede Social”), Allen Leech (“Downton Abbey”),  Lucy Boynton (“Gypsy”), Mike Myers (“Austin Powers”), Aaron McCusker (“Shameless”) e Aidan Gillen (“Game of Thrones”).
